Article in Designlines Magazine

One of my works has been featured in Designlines Magazine as part of their curated collection for TOAF 2020.

Excerpt from article - “While many of her works are named Untitled (as this work from 2019 above is), Lathem’s drawings are singular – each graphite and charcoal rendering on Duralar (an acetate alternative) tells a story through that which she chooses to reveal or evade. The North Bay artist pulls from found and personal images, sometimes stitching multiple images together. In her words, “These works act as mirages of memories that never happened.”

Toronto Outdoor Art Fair - TOAF

I am excited to be apart of the 59th annual Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (TOAF) - Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor art fair that occurs every July in the heart of Toronto at Nathan Phillips Square. With over 360 artists and makers juried into this celebrated exhibition, it’s always been a fair to meet curators, buyers, fellow artists and patrons alike. Except this year is different (isn’t that the truth). With a worldwide pandemic, many, if not all, things look different. This year TOAF has pivoted to digital in a time when physical and social distancing is mandatory.

In an effort to continue to support artists, TOAF have developed a digital exhibition platform from July 2 - 12, 2020 including a full schedule of online events, artist talks, studio visits and curated collections. Check out all the amazing work by other artists, buy work and support the arts! and CHEERS to adapting in this weird weird time.
